The assault caused the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
